The government of Pakistan has announced “The Prime Minister’s National Innovation Award (PMNIA)”. The PM National Innovation Award is an opportunity for young entrepreneurs to present their innovative ideas related to different thematic areas with a specific focus on Eco-Innovation. The program encourages Pakistani youth to propose innovative ideas and get funding as well as technical support to turn their ideas into a business.
A grant package of up to PKR 2M will be stretched over the proposed budget requirements of the startup for approved activities, including rigorous entrepreneurial training, legal training and support, and financial education and training among other services.
Innovators will receive free of cost mentorship by the renowned development sector’s experts, leading multinational companies, local enterprises, and leading employers.
Complete support and facilitation will be provided to the youth to take their innovative ideas to the next level.
The top performing innovators participating in PMNIA will get recognition at the national/international level, receive exposure and develop industrial linkages, and have a chance to commercialize their start-ups.
Youth of Pakistan aged between 15 to 30 years can submit their Startup Innovative Ideas / Concept Notes on the prescribed application template up to 30th January 2023, via Prime Minister Youth Portal. (https://pmyp.gov.pk/HEC/InnovationLeague).
