The contemporary challenges such as COVID, globalism, well-being, social & sustainable development, industrial innovation, education, and justice system are global issues, requiring an interdisciplinary approach for better solutions. ICON is the first local conference of its type aimed at bringing in faculty from diverse fields to talk about the problems, share ideas, and help generate possible solutions. ICON is going to offer researchers and academicians at GIFT a platform to engage in a dialogue that theoretically connects the departments while bringing a holistic perspective to conduct and present research.

Authors can submit the following: –
- An original piece of research work, based on primary or secondary data.
- Already published work, keeping abreast with the copyright issues.
- Work under progress (this could be working at any stage from initial idea formulation to collection/analysis of empirical data).
- (Ph.D.) Research Proposals of interdisciplinary nature.
