Call for proposals under student development project (SDP)

ORIC GIFT has introduced the student development project (SDP), An initiative that will encourage and empower student entrepreneurs to commercialize their ideas. Through this initiative, students can get funded for their project ideas so that they can innovate, accelerate and commercialize their ideas for the betterment of society.
 
Date of submission for proposals 1st November 2021
 
SDP is an initiative of ORIC GIFT that encourages the students to originate their applied research ideas that may be developed into a practical form as a project or product. These prototype projects may further be polished by relevant industries so that eventually they can be commercialized for use by the community or society at large. For this purpose, ORIC has introduced the student development project, An initiative that will encourage and empower student entrepreneurs to commercialize their ideas.
 
The proposal selected by the Evaluation Committee will be awarded a grant of Rs. 100,000/-
 
Terms & Conditions:
  1. The students’ group is highly recommended to involve an industry partner, who could be an eventual buyer of this idea and product.
  2. There would be four students involved in the group and those ideas/projects may be given preference where the students from different departments join hands to work on the idea.
  3. The group would be required to complete and submit their work within six months’ time.
 
Please find attached the Student Development Project fund Proposal Form to apply for the project funding. The proposal needs to be submitted directly at the email address:   oric@gift.edu.pk, mentioning the relevant subject in the email title.  The revised date of proposal submission is now November 1st, 2021.
